"Blues" piano

I thought it would be fun to play "blues" piano...anyone else do so?

I'm not there yet, but I really enjoy the blues and ultimately I intend to learn blues style piano. ;D

Hope you post here when you do!

My teacher demands such absolute precision and attention to detail, I'd love to find some piano music which allows me more individuality.  Right now, I'm not at that stage with classical pieces...so blues might give me that.

Are you talking about solo blues piano or playing piano in a blues band?

If it's solo it will be quite a challenge because you will be the whole show, rhythm, harmony and melody. I have a friend who is booked solid, but he is very good. He knows exactly what to include and what to leave out.
