Hi guys,
I had a think last night about an international piano competition in Ettlingen I'm interested in and was considering possibilities of the repertoire. It would be my first international competition, but I already have a suitable repertoire.

What they want in the programme is:
1. An etude from ”Art of Finger Dexterity” op. 740 by Czerny
or one of the following etudes:
Chopin, from op. 10, nos. 1, 2, 4, 5, 8, 12; from op. 25 nos. 1, 2, 6, 9, 11;
Liszt, Concert Etudes ”Waldesrauschen”, ”Gnomenreigen”, ”La leggierezza”, ”Un sospiro”

2. One or more works or single movements from the Baroque period up to the present. At least one movement from a sonata by Haydn, Mozart or Beethoven should be included

So what I have proposed is:

Bach - Italian Concerto (Mvt 1)                           (4mins)
Mozart - Piano Sonata K311 (Mvt 1)
Chopin - Etude Op 10/5
Rachmaninoff - Prelude Op 3/2
Chopin Ballade No 3 Op 47
Wang Yu Shi/Er Shao Ling - Sunflowers

I know guys, it might not be as flashy or difficult as some other competitors but I think it is broad and shows what I got, after all I only have max. 25 minutes.

Beethoven - Piano Concerto No.2, Piano Sonata Op 57
Chopin - Ballade Op 23
Liszt- Hungarian Rhapsody No.14
Ravel - Pavane Pour une Infante Défunte
Cramer/Bulow,Chopin Etudes
Chamber music
