Very well played!
Your technique looks well-developed, giving you a powerful and calm presence at the piano. How many other Chopin Etudes have you played?
I thought the opening was beautiful, flexible, and very evocative of the cello.
There are times throughout where I feel the top voice is the main event rather than a simple descant part. I think the main event should always be the cello here, but I'm a cellist, so I am biased
Middle section-I don't personally like how much you slow down for the LH scales. They sounded a bit apprehensive. I like to throw caution to the wind here and really let those scales rip.
In the recap, which overall was stunning (much preferred the LH chromatic scale to the first couple of LH scales in the middle section-the energy was somehow more effective).
Beautiful playing. Thank you for posting-I would love to hear you play some other Chopin Etudes!
