im learning the pathetique sonata and i cant seem to get the chromatic scale fast enough....any suggestions?

Practice more.  Speed takes time.

take a look at Chang's book  Fundamentals of Piano Practice and search around this forum for "repeated note group set" for various types of exercises and learning techniques you can apply to develop speed with these types of passages.
