Bach/Szántó - Fantasy and Fugue in G minor (for organ)
on: June 16, 2013, 01:29:37 AM
Hi everyone! Well, before a little periode of inactivity (i was preparing my concerts of course's end and finishing my pieces) I'm very happy to show you this piece, the densest i've ever worked on. The score is practically a black spot, haha!
The fantasy has a very imponent sound and there, the master Bach uses disonances totally unusual at the time. That mixed up with the fabulous Szántó's arrengement make the piece that I present to you.
I don't need to say many things about the fugue, the magic of the counterpoint makes everything, so the best thing you can do is listening to it.
Thank you to all you for watching the video and I hope you like it, and thank you to Mr. Marc-André Hamelin, who I was playing this piece live and I liked it so much that I decided to have a try on it!!
Here I post also the score, if you want to read it while you listen o it, you can do it
