Bosendorfer removable capo d'astro

My Bosendorfer 200 came with a capo d'astro that only covers one range.  All other 200s I've seen have one that spans two upper treble ranges.  Why?  And how do I get the modern kind retrofitted. 

Also,  why is the frame finish brass and not the cool bronze frame?
