A Jazz Piano Christmas 2025 – But not at the Kennedy Center

For more than three decades, “A Jazz Piano Christmas” at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. has been a quiet highlight of the holiday season for jazz and piano lovers. The Revolutionary Piano of Nicky Hopkins
on: July 10, 2013, 05:10:54 PM
Greetings all!
I am new to these forums so kindly bear lol.
Well, to start with I am a beginner-intermediate level player who has no access to sight reading, I pretty much learn from Youtube only(or some tunes by ear).
I absolutely worship the playing of 'Nicky Hopkins'(the greatest session pianist in history of Rock)

I don't know whether you are aware, but that guy is a genius on piano. Anyways, I heard a solo instrumental by him that day and TRUST ME guys, it is such a fabulous piece, i'd urge everyone to spare a few minutes and just listen to it(you'd surely love it). Here's the link to it :

So, I am trying to play this but I just cannot figure out what's going on in here(although I know its not 'supremely complex' but its just so rich harmonically, if that's the right term for it.

Anyways, please have a listen, you won't regret. This is pure gold!
And, also any suggestion/feedback are more than appreciated.
Thanks!
