international news, movies? Text, video
on: July 14, 2013, 04:29:28 AM
I was thinking video, but text could be useful too.

Is there a list of news in different languages?  German, French, Russian, etc.?

Text, video for news.

I've seen some places that have movies in other languages.  If anyone knows of those sites, I'm interested.

Euronews:
English: https://www.euronews.com/ (this link leads automatically to your own language. Other languages can be picked on the top of the page in the language menu (in my browser top left). To get English, for example, I have to choose that language deliberately but still get the same link, but this time in English [en.euronews.com does not seem to exist]. The other links do not redirect:
French: https://fr.euronews.com/
German: https://de.euronews.com/
Greek: https://gr.euronews.com/
Hungarian: https://hu.euronews.com/
Italian: https://it.euronews.com/
Polish: https://pl.euronews.com/
Portuguese: https://pt.euronews.com/
Russian: https://ru.euronews.com/
Spanish: https://es.euronews.com/
Turkish: https://tr.euronews.com/
Ukrainian: https://ua.euronews.com/

No amount of how-to information is going to work if you have the wrong mindset, the wrong guiding philosophies. Avoid losers like the plague, and gather with and learn from winners only.

Wikipedia for text.  That's in many languages.

YouTube? That is where I get all my news (only the news that is worth knowing.)

It is  international if live in another country too right?

I'm surprised that you would be asking this sort of question. There is so much out there that I wouldn't know where to start. Because I've lived in so many places I tend to just visit the sites of the papers I read while I was there.

We live in a very interesting time, where we are just a click away from being there. Just for laughs I use google street view to tour my old 'hoods. On one occasion I turned a corner (virtually) and came upon a restaurant I often frequented. They had the blackboard outside listing the specials. I knew those were the specials for Tuesday so checked the date of the passing of google's camera truck and it was a Tuesday!

Enjoy you exploration...
