His passing was announced by Milan’s La Scala opera house on March 23. Read more >>

I want arms like madonna and Angelina Jolie put together. So I use 3 and 8 pound weights. My weight is 115 and I am 5'6 tall. Last time I benched was 2 years ago, at 75. max at 90. I am not used to that type of motion though, so I wouldn't even try benching over 30 lbs.

Back in the day (by back in the day, I mean like a year ago), for track and basketball we had to go to the weight room like every other day.

My max was my own body weight which was like 135.  Now I'm 137!

I hate benching man...  Actually I hate all working out in general.

...

Not a year ago, two years ago...  I haven't stepped a foot in the weight room ever since the end of track season.  And I'm 6 feet.

The thread topic asks how much each member can bench press, not how much they could two decades previously!

Personally, I can give no realistic figure since I have appeared before the bench in a court of law only once (and that as a witness).

Last year I was in a weights class, and I ended up maxing at about 180, I could get a few reps in but not enough for the set written on the board. I am 5' 11 and about 155 lbs

Also if we can talk about years ago, when I was in the 4th grade I was a competitive gymnast and I would not doubt it that my strength to weight ratio was a lot better than it is now.
Just here to lurk and cringe at my old posts now.

BOLLOX
Now there are two ways in which to take that as an answer here.

The first is that, since the thread topic is "How much can you bench press?" and that the question posed related specifically to the present rather than what anyone here might have been capable of bench pressing 20 years ago, it is in fact correct and reasonable to point this out in response to your post in which you specified what you could do 20 years ago but not what you can do now.

The second is that, if "BOLLOX" is, on the contrary, intended as a literal response to the question posed by the thread topic, one may assume that your bench press capability is equivalent to the weight of (presumably) a pair thereof so, whilst that does give at least some idea of your capability in this regard, it remains unspecific in weight terms, since bollocks(sp.) can and do vary considerably in weight from one bollocks owner to another, a fact of which one might assumed you already to be aware.

I suspect that my bench press capabilities are nothing to write home about because I simply avoid that kind of exercises. Someone who is concerned about the finer points of piano touch and who takes the art of piano playing seriously had better change immediately from weight-lifting to low-impact stuff like swimming, cycling, and aerobic sports. :)

Au contraire, there are the two that I outlined above, though which of them applies in practice is a matter for you to decide, as far as I can tell!

On incline 5 sets of 10*190 + 4 sets of 10*190 straight  benchpress

Nothing really spectacular coz I don't really want to get to bulky coz I don't want to be thinking about food all day long.

I do not more than 50kg on each side because I'm still young and I don't wanna stump my growth.

I dream of someday be as tall as that guy. You know. Him.

I can bench press nothing. I am a scrawny weakling, and will probably stay that way. Lol.
