Fingering question
on: July 29, 2013, 01:33:59 PM
Hello,

This is my first post here. I am working on the piece, Revelation by the Yellowjackets for an audition. I have a question about the best fingering for playing triplet octaves.

So far, I've been playing them basically 5,1,5 - 5,1,5 - 5,1,5, but this seems inefficient. I would like to know others opinions on this.

Here are some videos to give you perspective.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Jon

for example, 5-1-5  4-1-5 4-1-(depends on what comes next)
1+1=11
