Rachmaninoff prelude Op. 32 No. 10
on: August 02, 2013, 04:42:08 PM
This is from back in the day!  Last year  *feelings of nostalgia*

There's a pretty small error in the cadenza, and you might not notice it.  Or maybe you will  But anyways, it's a pretty small error, but when you notice it, you'll get sooo mad!!!  That's what I remember at least.  I haven't listened to it since like a long time ago, so I don't remember all the details.  Probably a bunch of minor errors.  I would've done it again but I only had one try or else the guy would've started charging me.

This is a nice recording, I really liked it. I hope to one day hear another version of this, see how it grows in you and that kind of stuff.  :D

Thanks for listening,

unfortunately it's really difficult to record piano and I can't afford a studio. :(

I like how calm this started and how you gradually helped it rise up and fall back down again, the way you approached the rhythms throughout also overall sounded calm and contemplative. There was no sense of thumping or chopping at the keys as you played forte ranges and the chords sounded controlled and placed down which can so easily be ruined. Thanks!!!

You have a beautiful resonant tone, especially with loud passages.  It never sounded bangy.  I like the sense of space and perspective you brought to this piece.
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

Really great performance!! lostinidlewonder has described it perfect, I couldn't do it better so... I'm not going to haha!!

I also love your bass line, it's quite impressive and you get a really cool colour. Congratulations!  :)
