Mozart Piano Concerto
on: August 13, 2013, 05:48:46 AM
Hello Everyone! I was wondering what grade is the piano concerto by Mozart no.12 K414? I really like this song, but I don't know if I am capable of learning it, because I'm only grade five.

Before you accept the challenge do a lot of trill and run work, always key elements in Mozart's works. Beautiful concerto incidentally ! I suspect it's a level or two above 5 but that doesn't mean you shouldn't give it a whirl.
Think about orchestration.
Edit:
Also I should add that if you are not used to Mozart phrasing and voicing you will need to do a few other works of his to get that under your belt .

Depressing the pedal on an out of tune acoustic piano and playing does not result in tonal color control or add interest, it's called obnoxious.
