I agree on all the details, but the poster needs to think in two simple chunks, in order to make life simple. There's one chunk from B to B. And another from F sharp to sharp. Once you have the optimal fingering for each four note chord, the individual fingers sort themselves out. It's infinitely easier than trying to go through reams of numbers, when you merely look at two places to stick your hand. Some people will assimilate such detailed fingerings into an underlying logic, but others get bogged down and miss the bigger vision. It's easier to see the big picture first and find the details in fingering from that, than to run through reams of numbers and try to assemble them together into something simpler.

That is a great point. Doing in chunks helps discover which fingering is most comfortable as well. Could be finger #4 could be used a the D# near the upper F# too.

Three questions:

1) How fast do you have to play this?
2) What exactly is the rhythm of this?
3) What is this for --  is there a piece that this arpeggio is based on?

I ask because I usually find myself using different fingerings for different phrasings/rhythms.  I mean, if this is purely a technical study, you'd want to practice this with all the fingerings and rhythms you can think of (including very awkward ones).
