A night at the ballet :)

This is a lovely transcription by Anthony Goldstone I only recently got to know.
(still very freshly learned, with some rough edges...  )
Comments/suggestions welcome!

I like this very much. You have a nice sound and rhythmic poise (the introduction is particularly good). The only suggestion I can make is that some of the p passages could be quieter still (maybe using the una corda pedal to thin the sound might be quite a good effect). The title of your thread did raise a smile ;)

Thanks for listening and for the suggestion, ronde! I agree dynamics need refinement (as well as other things  :)).

What are you up to these days? New operatic transcriptions?!

Thanks for posting this enjoyable medley. I think your bending of tempo is just about right, and avoids the mechanical, silent film effect I imagine many would produce with this sort of stuff. Your finger mechanism is crisp and clearly articulated, with no leaning, rolling or smudging for ease of execution. I always like that, although it is a bit out of fashion just now - probably because it's harder.

Yes, I'm learning a few new ones, had a trial runout yesterday (hence my delayed reply!) but they are very fresh just now. Have sent you a pm; no point in hijacking your thread.
