Suggestions for spectacular rock/pop piano pieces for (not classic)
on: November 06, 2004, 11:44:04 AM
Hello,
Have you heard of the swedish pianist Robert Wells and his "Rhapsody In Rock" pieces? Well I'm looking for songs in that style: Things that suits good on venues like partys and such, that could be played by a combo concisting of drums, bass, guitar and the piano (as head instrument).
Like the same style as Wintergames by David Foster!
I would really appreciate your answers!
Excuse me if my language is not the best =)

Check out Billy Joel/Elton John. Each has a "Keyboard Book" with authentically transcribed songs.

Check out some of the songs of Tori Amos. Cornflake Girl can be played by a full band and also has lots of flashy piano parts.
