Rach 2(Concerto)?
on: September 07, 2013, 03:28:28 AM
Are there any editions of this concerto with fingering suggestions? Please no one say that if I'm asking this question, then I'm not ready for the concerto, because i've already figured out all the fingering with me and my teacher, and just wanted to see someone else's input(in case I missed an optimal fingering in the past).
Thanks for any help!

(Oh BTW I'm just concerned about mvmt 1)

Hi

I have an edition that has a few suggestions. It's printed in Russia..Compozitor Publishing St. Petersburg or something like that.

Check what's available on IMSLP as well??

:)
Debussy Preludes 1:4, 2:9.
Beethoven Op. 22
Medtner Op. 5
Shchedrin Basso Ostinato
Silvestrov Op. 2

Try using every finger on your left hand and at least five from your right one. Hope that helps!
P.S. About pedaling, I strongly recommend using your right foot.

Haha, I was going to say, you're definitely not ready for this piece if you needed to figure out all of the fingering with your teacher ;)
