Liszt Concerto No. 1

Hi Everybody,

I have just started working on Liszt's Concerto No. 1 for a competition. Do you have any tips you could give me to help me play this work better?

bsaed on the repertoire listed in your signature, are you sure that's not too ambitious?

Thanks for your answer. I think that the concerto would be alright for me; I have gotten permission from my piano teacher and an adviser.
