Mozart Sonata in F major K. 533 Question
on: September 14, 2013, 06:28:10 PM
Hey Friends, I was wondering for all of you out there that have played this piece before (hopefully the title got your attention.

There is a part in both the exposition and recapitulation measures 51 and 55 as well as 182 and 186, there there is a triplet figure in the right hand, then concurrently in the left hand a eighth note trill followed by two sixteenth notes... all occupying the same quarter note length value

How do you divide the time between the hands?

Urgent responses appreciated! performances are too fast to figure out how they are doing it

One suggestion is to play the trill/semiquaver combo as a quintuplet (DEDCD) against the  triplet. There's a spot earlier where the same figure occurs in the RH against a simple duplet in the bass, so you should really do whatever you did there.
