Hi guys, a Grade 8 student here, I just finished playing the Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 and would like to start on the 1st Movement of Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No 3. Am I ready? If it helps, I have played his Prelude in G Minor Op. 23, No. 5 and his Prelude in C-sharp minor Op. 3, No. 2,

Way to go on completing the rhapsody!
His concerti are much more complex than his preludes, and are definitely harder than the second rhapsody. I think you should wait with learning the concerto.

You are absolutely 100% not ready.

If you were ready, you wouldn't have to start a thread asking people if you were ready.
