Superstition - Stevie Wonder - piano cover

Here is my arrangement of a famous tune by Stevie Wonder...

People asked me why did I do it so fast, as the original  is not THAT fast...
Well... my answer is the original track is with drum, bass, 3 tracks of clav, brass and so on... So it is pretty dense and groovy... I tried once to do it in the original tempo and it sounds thin and not very groovy... So I had too speed it up...  maybe the feels is differrent from the original... but I think sounds OK to me...
..
well let me know if u guys have something to say...
In any case, thanks for listening...

I think it's sounding super groovy.

You're absolutely correct about the density of the original. With 10 fingers we just can't produce the same amount of energetic rhythmic groove that a full band can.

We can get very much the same effect by using a subtle tempo shift.

It's all about getting the 'feel' of the original without matching it note-for-note, or click-for-click either.

Bravo!
