Hi Ariel,

Wonderful playing of Bartok's Sonata!  Although Bartok always achieved a modern sound, I think was he usually rooted within classical form.  Your handling of his motifs is always fitting to the style and the moment, and you maintain the "hyperkinetic" rhythmic drive as you call it.  I especially liked the Allegro molto.  This is an important addition to your repertoire.  Congrats on your fine performance!

I don't know the piece that well but I thought your performance was exceedingly polished.

Congratulations on playing with such confidence and professionalism in front of such a large audience!
