What do you all think of his piano music. I personally think it is some of the most exciting and powerful I have ever heard. My faves so far are The Variations on a Polish Theme, The op 33 etudes and the Fantasia op 14. Tell what you else you guys enjoy or if you think his music sucks.

I've heard his Etudes Op. 4 and Mazurkas Op. 50 and I liked them a lot. I wanted to get more works on CD by this composer, so thanks for reminding me.  :)

his op4 no3 is IMO one of the most beautiful pieces ever composed

his musical progression is comparable to that of scriabin - the more traditional romantic to start off with - then experimenting more and more with harmony and tonality as their careers progressed.
