Nevin "Mystery Story"
on: October 20, 2013, 11:08:39 AM
I'm playing with Shimer's Halloween Favorites, a book of elementary piano solos. (Speaking of keeping kids engaged at the piano, you get them fun stuff, right?)

I'm having trouble figuring out the rhythm to "Mystery Story", by Mark Nevin, and I couldn't find it on YouTube. I was hoping someone could point to a recording, or just record themselves playing it, so that I can get an idea of what it's supposed to sound like.

Also, more theoretically, the chords on the bass line seem a little weird. Wait... the song is in E minor, isn't it? Well, I recognize the I and IV chords now, but that's not all of them.
