VIDEO: Moskowski Etude Op. 72 Nš 6
on: October 29, 2013, 10:48:23 PM
Hi, I'm new to forum, yesterday I found this video of this Moskowski etude played by me as encore at a live concert I gave last year. I thought it would be good to share it with you as a presentation.
I have to mention that it was filmed with a cellphone, so quality isn't very good, and the video starts a bit late in the piece so it's incomplete.
Hope you like it
Greetings, Francisco.

Bravo! A fine contribution, regardless of the footage quality itself.
This was my first big etude as a young student. I thought you played it with real humour!
A bold rendition.
I would say, you could work a tad more on the LH, musically speaking. Right now it sounds fairly impressive from a technical point of view. I think you could forget about that now.... don't worry if the LH isn't as brilliant-sounding as the RH in the fast notes. Just try and make them as expressive.
Thank you for the performance, and welcome to the forum!

Thank you for you nice comment!, I appreciate your advices!
Right now I'm studying other works and preparing for a concert, but this etude is always a great piece to have in fingers because it's very friendly to the public and very funny to play too!
I am planning of doing a recording with good equipment, if I can do it I will share more here.
Happy to have found this place with so many pianists!
