Szymanowski - 2 Mazurkas op. 62

Last pieces Szymanowski ever penned as far as I've understood, though he lived some more years after their completion. Freshly learned pieces, first time in public, comments welcome.

Hi fnork,

This was a first hearing for me.  Your playing was marvelous. Congrats on wonderful performances.  While listening, it struck me that these pieces seem quite expressionistic.  Did you happen to get that same sense while you were preparing them?

Thanks for sharing your performances here!

David

thanks for listening! Yes, the pieces somehow have both sweet and somewhat sinister moments, and they're not exactly always mazurka-like!
