Need Manuscript clarification for Rach c# prelude
on: November 26, 2013, 06:09:05 PM
Near the end of the Agitato, in the "flaming triplets" if you are familiar with the piece, there seems to be an editorial omission of some natural or sharp signs for the "e" note when you compare the left and right hands through the third , fifth and sixth of these measures. This is in the Dover edition.
I started penciling in my guess but became unsure and would appreciate a second opinion
Thanks

I have two editions with a natural sign for the fourth count of third and fifth measures. So the only E that would be E# would be the first one in the left hand for those measures. I think that is right and your edition has an editing mistake there.
