Jericho

I've been playing "Jericho" in Alfred's book, over and over. It has a solid, meaty sound that I like. But it's short. I'd like to find something longer, that develops the theme in more ways. Or something with the same kind of sound to it. Any suggestions? Any idea what I'm talking about?

@ gregh

Do a search for "Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho" through Google and on YouTube (that's the full name of the classical spiritual you are talking about).
No amount of how-to information is going to work if you have the wrong mindset, the wrong guiding philosophies. Avoid losers like the plague, and gather with and learn from winners only.

Joshua "fit" the battle of Jericho? Yep, looking around, that seems to be right. Is that a past-tense of "fight"? Google did point out a "Joshua fought the battle of Jericho".

I just checked, and my local library has that in a spirituals song book.
