Creating a bridge from this chord progression
on: December 17, 2013, 03:01:34 PM
Hi all,
First of all, I'm not well versed in music theory so bear with me.
I'm currently making a song with this chord progression and I'm having a hard time trying to come up with the right chords for the bridge.
These are the chorus chords: Em C Am D
What is a good chord progression for the bridge?
Here are some combinations I've come up with but none of them seem to do it for me.
Em C D Am x
Em Am C D v
Em Am D C
Em D Am C
Em D C Am
C Em Am D
C Em D Am
C Am Em D
C Am D Em
C D Em Am
C D Am Em
Am C D Em
Am C Em D
Am Em D C
Am Em C D
Am D Em C
Am D C Em
D Em C D
D Em D C
D C Am Em
D C Em Am
D Am Em C
D Am C Em
Thanks in advance.

How about modulating to another key like G Major or E Major.
G Major C Major D Major C Major
G Major D Major A Major B Major
E Major A Major B Major A Major
D Major G Major A major G Major
C Major D Major E minor B Major
E minor
Don't know If that chord progression is what you want but you can try it.
