Happy Holidays
on: December 24, 2013, 05:56:39 AM
The title says it, all I am not all in for this X-mas shenanigans, bu for the sake of good intentions... I will forget the capitalist engine and focus on the more "human" side of the coin.

Happy Holidays, my pianist comrades, may we bask in another year full of piano ...erm stuff and that.

i had a fabulous Christmas! I practiced 5 hours and noone complained, because we also spent time together all morning and all evening! yay! I look forward to doing it again, next year! hope your holiday was excellent, too! next is new year's! if anyone needs a designated driver, i'm pretty reliable when it comes to not drinking. i have 100388474637464 excuses to avoid drinking, if anyone pressures.  :)
so...yeah! stay safe, loves!  8)

if anyone asks you to drink and you don't want to, tell them you're a violent drunk. if they keep pushing and you give in, tell them you told them so, later punching them in the face and taking their wallet...

but moving on and to, hope everyone's piano journey is leading them to where they want to be.

love and happiness to you

bye!

lol, well...not to tell the whole world, but it's impossible that i am pregnant...not completely, but pretty impossible, considering amount of actual physical interaction with males. no big deal, though. i'm also thinking of becoming a nun, how are you doing?  ::)

Now I'm shocked...Let me remind you about the original story behind Christmas... a couple of thousand years ago someone got pregnant without any interaction with males  ;)

Sorry about your operation, hope you get well soon. At least you can play.

this makes no sense...except i guess, yeah...Mary got pregnant Dec 16th and was a little late on birth...(cave birth is tough). 12 is December, minus 3 is 9, which is September...the math is really complicated. i had no idea each day of the week has an Archangel assigned to it

but what about months and years? anyone?

Any attempts at trying to establish the exact date, month, and year are meaningless, since all currently existing calendars are clearly in error. Based on the info we have, one could make a case for "somewhere in September/October" of some unknown year X.
P.S.: Happy holidays anyway! Russian Christmas is on January 7th. :)

Using our current calendar system, September 7BC. That is if one accepts that the star of Bethlehem was a triple conjunction of Jupiter & Saturn and not a bright star or whatever bollocks is mentioned in some 2,000 year old guide book.

oh wow, astrology? the magi were making predictions based on that, were they not? and jupiter and saturn are exterior planets, but what else? why did it appear like a bright star? i'm a little confused and wiki barely helped.

It didn't, but the event was very rare and of considerable importance to astrologers.

Mary slept with Joseph before marriage and felt the need to hide it when she found out she was pregnant. Her parents were naive and bought the whole god came down and rocked my world.

Okay I leave for some days and you all get drunk on eggnog and stuff D; yes my x-mas was...just another normal day to be honest BUT I am making progress in my "main" piece which I started exactly 1 year ago from the 27 of Dec and by progress I mean full text with parts at tempo and others at 80% so happy x-mas to me from me.

By the way Jesus was supposed to be really born March 19 according to experts nd stuff.  So make the math.

By the way (if we take the bible literally) God is a pimp.

I am soo sad!!!

I have nothing to do for New Years...

AGAIN!!!

It's like this every year!!!

Everyone's out having fun while I'm sitting at home doing nothing!!!

I don't watch TV, I think it's boring.

I can't practice because my apartment has like ZERO insulation so it's too cold.

I don't play my 360 or ps3.

Too wet outside to skate.

Everything is closed.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Technically yes...If you can get your hands on his heart or some other source of DNA.

But cloning is not the most reliable means of getting an exact copy, you might end up with his evil twin who won't bother to practice piano at all  ;)

All by myself?

you should plan to have a nice new year's next year. plan ahead! make some friends

I am having lunch with a few friends tomorrow, EARLY. Then, going home to practice for as many hours as I have free of social obligations...Then, cook and prepare non alcoholic drinks and pick up a friend who had a car accident recently, then we all go watch fireworks. possibly bring my yellow dog with me.

By next year you will prob. have some friends that you can have a nice evening with!
New years is mostly for drunks!
Being out late is really dangerous, with all the drunk drivers!

make sure you stock up on food for the eve if you are gonna stay in alone. I like watching supernatural when I sit inside...

again, at least you are not risking being hit by a drunk driver or something!

you could always ask a girl to go dancing! ;)

or, at midnight, do some good magic!

It's like this every year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't have any friends.  Sure there are people who call themselves friends, but low key...  They're not real friends....

Stock up on food?  I'll do what I did on Christmas.  Eat three boxes of frosted sugar cookies.  Two in a half...

Watch fireworks?  By myself?  Which actually is kinda nice.  Cause when you're alone, you can do whatever you want!!!  But After a while you grow tired of it.

I would rather be at risk getting hit by a drunk driver than being alone.  I've been alone for too damn long and I'm starting to hate it!

I can't dance.

But at least I got a good New Years resolution!!

I'm gonna resolve a first inversion major C7 chord to a root position F major chord...

I can't dance either, but if you make a fool out of yourself when you dance it can be endearing. My girlfriend is a really good dancer and I'm awful, at her prom I had to try and keep up. Also learn to do a standing backflip on the ground. That's always impressive, especially in a tux...

No...

I insist.

Okay that's it I will be your friend you want it or not.

As a matter of fact you're all going to be friends now >:D now...FRIENDS shall we bring terror to the little races?

Anyway! For today I will just practice until midnight...seeing I have a shortage of human contact nowadays.
