Would this be a good repertoire list for DipABRSM?
on: December 25, 2013, 06:13:18 AM
As I've said before, I've stopped lessons for a while. When I start taking lessons again, I'd like to surprise my teacher with DipABRSM pieces. (I've talked to her about it and she knows I want to do DipABRSM, but we haven't settled on pieces.)
I've looked at the repertoire list and hand-picked the easiest pieces from each era. Do you think this repertoire list displays a large enough range of styles, moods and skills? If not, I'll start practising them.
Scarlatti Sonatas K. 263 + 264
Haydn Sonata Hob.XVI 48
Chopin Mazurka Op. 50 No. 3
Fauré Barcarolle No. 1, Op. 26
Bartók Dances in Bulgarian Rhythm nos. 2, 5
Thanks in advance
