The Open Piano Competition is running its third edition in London from 17th-22nd November 2014. Apply at www.openpianocompetition.com/apply. Min age limit 18. No max age limit. Deadline 31st August 2014.

The website says:

a) Entry fee is £125 (non-refundable).

b) Student entry fee (full-time students only) is £75 (non-refundable).
Instrumentalists are all wannabe singers. Discuss.
