Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli
on: January 04, 2014, 05:23:04 PM
I have been listening to the pianist named in the title recently and have come to admire his playing. His economy of motion, his extremely well-developed finger technique, and his tone all attract me to his playing. However, I am having trouble finding information on his "philosophy", so to speak, on interpretation and how he approached pieces. Does anybody here know anything about this? Any information would be appreciated.
Thank you
