Is that the Ulrich transcription? It seems a little weak as transcriptions go.

Nicely played and good balance between you.  I hope you post something else together.

I think it's the Ulrich transcription (it doesn't actually say on our published edition!). There is also a version by the great Czerny, which coincidentally, I do not like as much as this one.

This one, although not without its interpretive challenges, really serves to emphasize the work's Grecian lightness!

Stay tuned for many more duets! We've been working on our duet repertoire for years, and only just got this camera the other day, so there's lots more to come.

Including Tchaikovsky's 5th Symphony!

I'd be interested to hear you play your solo version! We worked a TON on this piece recently, and still haven't started the 4th movement.

The first and second movements are ready to video!

THEN POST THEM! haha

Ill have to work on it again, but if i get to a good stopping point Ill have to show yuh!
The 2nd movement has some absolutely gorgeous melodies. I play the symphony on my way home from teaching lessons.
The whole symphony seems like it would be hard on a 4 hand duo, not just technically. The musical quality in that piece has to be challenging.

What edition are you using for Tchaik 5?

Yeah yeah, our pianos are so out of tune it's bloody awful!

We play Taneyev's arrangement, from imslp.org

It is extremely difficult, musically and technically!
