I would be interested to hear your son play some earlier repertoire!

I'm curious....how long has he had this piece in his repertoire for?

My son learned this piece for half years. This is the first IMPRESSIONIST piece he played. He didn't like any IMPRESSIONIST pieces before. On last April, his playing was still not good. Then, he changed his previous teacher's idea to the current style by himself, and keep it to now.

Why do you use that word? Ravel did not like to consider himself an impressionist.
