Estampes

Next post!

I thought that I maybe shouldn't post this, because I screwed up some parts... but I wont record it for a while. Also, it's not a concert, nor a room full of critics, so I figured...

I worked on it for 4 weeks or so during last semester, and now played it for since yesterday again.

If you have any suggestions, comments or so, feel free to!

I will try to upload the whole set any time soon, and re-record this one as well, but for now. Enjoy!

Overall a well-studied performance!  A couple of small things that bothered me:

I'd make sure you really know the RH part at m. 27. Sounded a bit clumsy instead of pp.

In m. 51, the 2nd trill in the RH came in a bit early.

What a shame you messed up at m. 78! That's one of the most brilliant spots! Definitely work out whatever happened there.

I look forward to hearing the other two! I was lucky enough to play Estampes for the great French pianist Pascal Roge, and he gave me some very useful feedback.

Thanks. I didn't think of the frills, but the other two were the reason I didn't want to post it at first. But thanks, now I know everyone else heard them as well ;)
