Joey Alexander: 10 yr old jazz pianist in Indonesia
on: February 03, 2014, 10:47:45 PM
I've just posted an interview on my blog with Joey Alexander and his dad. He's a 10-year old self-taught jazz pianist in Indonesia. He's a great pianist and will be playing soon in major festivals and concerts and recording a CD.

And let it be said of Joey that self-taught really means that. He's attended ONE masterclass and other than that everything he does at the piano is through is own intuition.

His touch is superb! More sensitive than stuff I've seen from classical pianists three times his age!
