Hello everyone,
I'm new on the forum.
I'm a french amateur pianist living in Paris.

Here is my interpretation of the Brahms Intermezzo Opus 118 number 2 :

Hi Ronan,

Welcome to the forum! I hope you stick around!

Congratulations on your recording of this wonderful little piece!

Personally, I found your musical choices to be a bit predictable. I would rather hear a more individualistic interpretation in hopes of hearing something new inside the work.

For me, this performance remains unsurpassed:

Notice how the LH forms an important, organic part of the overall musical texture!

+1.

Also see/hear (my personal favorite and inspiration. I much prefer the 'old guard' on these matters. GG is great, but old Heinrich weaves magic!)

The GG version is awesome.
