Hi, very impressed that you self taught yourself . when you are playing for 1,5 years , Chopin's nocturnes are not really the peaces to learn on. What did you play before this?
I had a quick look and I don't know this nocturne that well, never played it , only heard it, as far as I can see, it should sound a lot lighter, ( like chocolate filled with air bubbles

especially the lh. Your fingers curl up (undue tention) and other things going on, habits which would be hard to break I am afraid. In general, it sounded a lot better than I feared

. i would say you really need to play easier things very well before moving on to pieces like that. I can see you like this nocturne though. You have the abilities to play piano and you definitely should keep playing. There are exercises you can you to develop fingers and if you do them in a correct way they will help. Others who know more about it all will hopefully comment too. Tonya
