"Hilda" - CD95, final section
on: February 10, 2014, 09:43:18 AM
For some time I have had the notion of making four big romantic improvisations around the characters of my four grandparents. It is not exactly impressionism but I thought it might be fun. Unfortunately, I had not reckoned on the level of technique, physical fitness and nervous energy required, and it took me three months to finish. I more or less had to train for each one and work my technique (lots of Virgil Practice Clavier) and mental state up to sufficient levels to hack the pace each time. I am not a natural impressionist like our friend quantum but I am quite pleased with the results now.
I had to reduce the the quality to 192kbps to fit the limit, but it should sound reasonable through a hi-fi.
