Clementi Sonatina in G Major, Op. 36, No. 2
on: February 18, 2014, 04:02:24 PM
This performance took highest honors in a juried recital this past weekend. Not note perfect, but musical and stylistically sound. Any suggestions for future performances, or critique on this one, welcome! - H. Benford (8)

Very good performance! Congratulations.
I would agree that it was musical and stylistically sound.

Perhaps he could play it with a greater sense of "discovering the music for the very first time". It's so difficult to do that when a piece is very well-rehearsed! We have to really exaggerate the excitement with the articulation and dynamics for the concert stage!

Make sure all of the trickiest parts sound as polished as the rest!

Good work.
