My audition recording at a music school
on: February 28, 2014, 09:26:14 PM

I recorded this through my iPhone's Voice Memos App.

There are a few mistakes here and there, but 1) not that much of a big deal comparing to my performance overall and 2) I heard from other current students that the faculty is not looking for a "perfect" performance

Also, please ignore the random noises (lol), it's sorta like what Glenn Gould does in his recordings xD

Good work! The Chopin has really come a long way since the first time you posted it.

Best of luck with the audition!

Thanks! Here are the pieces in order:

1. 1st Mvt Chopin Sonata No.2 (up to end of exposition)
2. the entire black key etude by same composer
3.  the entire p+f bach no.11 bk 1
4. 1st mvt op2no3 (after the arpeggiated triplets and 16ths and IV V I octaves)
5. 2nd mvt op2no3 (up to the FF section)

and yeah I have an idea of the chopin e minor concerto ekier :)

Good job!

Just curious, how did you record this?  It sounds like you were wearing a wire  ;)
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach
