freezing fingers when practicing

My fingers get soooo cold when practicing since the cold weather has started moving in. What should I do to keep them warm?

Thanks so much, Tash! Helpful advice in that thread, it's great. :)
I realized the vent to the central heating system in the piano room was closed. DUH! No wonder it's so cold in there! ::)
My fingers also get cold when I'm typing- I'm wearing fingerless gloves (that I knit myself. How cool am I?) right now, don't know how much good they're doing though as I'm wearing a short sleeve T-shirt!
Anyway thanx again!
