"Challenge accepted" piano exercise?
on: March 12, 2014, 02:46:57 AM

Anyone know how I can master this exercise?

From about 2 octaves from the starting G I start to get littered with mistakes. Can you give any suggestions on how to play this accurately and quickly?

Thanks!

Practice slowly for hours, there's nothing else. And let your subconscious take over ;)!

Will do that, thanks.

Btw, is there actually a piece  that DOES make use of leaps that far?

Poems of Ecstasy – Scriabin’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

The great early 20th-century composer Alexander Scriabin left us 74 published opuses, and several unpublished manuscripts, mainly from his teenage years – when he would never go to bed without first putting a copy of Chopin’s music under his pillow. All of these scores (220 pieces in total) can now be found on Piano Street’s Scriabin page. Read more
