Another Clavinova Question
on: November 22, 2004, 08:54:23 PM
I have a Clavinova CLP-130 and a Roland SC-33 sound canvas hooked together. I would like to be able to have the capability of "playing" the Clavinova, but only getting the sounds from the sound canvas. I can only get the sounds from the clavinova and sound canvas together. Does anyone know if this can be done? Thanks.

Normally this is accomplished by setting the midi local control to off, discoinnecting the keyboard from the tone generator. Unfortunately there is no such function on the CLP-130, BUT you can turn of the internal speakers. There is a switch by the headphone connector.
See page 12 of your owners manual.
Hope this helps,
Rodney
