Digital piano- purchase advice
on: March 23, 2014, 10:21:03 AM
I want to buy digital piano in unpcoming weeks, so I thought it would be good idea to ask on this forum about it. At internet you can mostly get opinion that best digital pianos are made by yamaha BUT when I asked around outside internet most people said that Roland is the best. Not many Yamahas in my city to test but I've tested some(clp 430 and something from "p" series),then I tested Roland hp 503 and well... there was HUGE diffrence, I mean Roland is totally destroying Yamaha clp 430. So what do you think? My budget for now is max Roland hp 506 which I'm aiming for now. But I didn't have oportunity to test higher Yamahas models. From what information I could gather it seems that I would have to give almost twice as much for equal sound in Yahama. Is it true?
As I said I myself have tested some digital pianos but not early enough, I've checked also Casio, Kawai and some others but nothing compared to the Roland I'd pleasure to play.

Buy whatever you like.
You've done the right thing ... tried out some pianos.
Only your opinion matters.  No one else's does! No one's.

Sure but I've tried so little :) I'd like to know if there is model or brand worth looking or testing :)
