French suite No 1 (Bach) fingering help
on: April 01, 2014, 08:28:18 PM
I'm quite new to piano so I apologise if this a relatively stupid question, but I''ve got to bar 4 (Not counting the bar featuring just a semi-quaver) and I can not figure out how to finger the C# to D to C#

https://www.freesheetpianomusic.com/bach/content/French%20Suites/BWV812%20%20French%20Suite%20No.%201%20in%20d%20minor.pdf if someone could give some advice on this section I'd appreciate it. I'm able to do finger substitution if that makes a difference.

Thank you :

1-2-1 or 2-1-2, depending on what you find easier.
