Hoffmann or Foerster piano?
on: April 07, 2014, 07:49:40 AM
Hello everyone, I'm in a dilemma in deciding which piano i should purchase. They are both upright and 2nd hand. I've found a A. Foerster, and a Hoffman Kyhne, dresden model de lux, both at prices i can afford. Can you help or advice me on which one i should prefer and why?

Thanks in advance! :)

This afternoon i'm going to see both of them. See the condition they're in and play. I'm anxious tho about making a good choice.

What else should i be careful about? I'm not a pro to check the hammers.. I can just check how large/heavy they are, the sound they make and check the pedals.. That's why I am curious about the brands.. To get extra knowledge.
