I hope I'm not tiring you guys with all my questions! I apologize, also, if my questions have been covered before and you guys are repeating yourselves for my sake. I appreciate it a great deal- the advice and support I find here is incredible. So.. without further ado:

I have been playing piano for about six or seven years, but because a large portion of that time has been without lessons, my knowledge of theory is pitifully limited! I am just barely learning the concepts of major, minor, augmented, and diminished triads. Are there books or websites that you would recommend to help me increase my knowledge of theory?

the best books ive found are the 2 ABRSM theory books

not the qestion ones, the text-book ones

But I was wondering:
don't you all study solfege?
In Europe we're haunted by hard solfege exercises and we've something as 4 semesters of it

Robert L. Jacobs - Understanding harmony (Oxford University Press)
