F. Chopin - Scherzo n. 3
on: April 24, 2014, 05:34:12 PM
Hi everyone!

I've been studying this for 2 months. I know it's a bit slow, it's just that i don't feel safe in certain parts yet. There are a few mistakes, but i guess they'll disappear later.

So, what should i improve?  What do you like and dislike most?

(sorry for the Piano)

Why do you think it's a bit slow?

I think the tempo is fine.

Try to achieve finer clarity and absolute perfection of small details in this this tempo.

The upper register of your piano sounds horribly out of tune!

What I like most is that you have a good ear for creating beauty and drama.

What I dislike most is that your grasp of the musical structure seems to be hindered by that ear.

Don't let your passion and eagerness for good musical feeling override your delivery of the musical structure itself.

Good work though. It sounds quite impressive overall. Don't worry about playing it faster. Try and play it with even better musical control instead!
