Issues with Suzuki Method
on: April 28, 2014, 01:28:57 PM
Hi everyone,

I started to see the Suzuki Method just by curiosity, and I saw that the CD is more expensive than the book, which that means that the most important thing is listening than reading.

I also read the 5 principles, which in short mean that only at a early age one can start the method, while the adults, parents and teachers who need to have a deep knowledge in the method, can only be supporters and guides.

Well, those are my points of view, maybe they are accurate or maybe not, but that's why I am doing this post, because I want to confirm the next issues:

- Is Suzuki Method only for children?
- Is it necessary to have teachers who are specialized in, or one can learn either with another ones or alone?
- For those who are studying and practicing this method, does it have good results?

Thanks for your feedback and information.

Yes, Suzuki is for young children.

Yes, you need a specialized Suzuki teacher.

No method alone produces 'good results', you must understand this!

Do you have a child you are considering enrolling in a Suzuki school?
